JRA Architects is one of the oldest and largest architectural firms in Kentucky.

At the heart of JRA’s dynamic work are architects and designers who thrive in a multidisciplinary environment.

Black & White was asked to create a website that captured the character of the firm, its people and the remarkable environments they create for their clients, while helping JRA increase qualified web traffic and leads.

We conducted on-site interviews, a competitor analysis and a site audit to effectively plan and strategize the site overhaul.

To set the website apart from competitor sites that heavily feature project imagery, Black & White focused on JRA’s partners and employees as the firm’s true creative drivers.

We captured portrait and working-session photography and video at JRA’s two locations and select client facilities.

We crafted the home page with a parallax scroll interspersed with rich photography and messaging that reflects the reverence JRA has for the discipline of architecture.

And we created project videos that featured interviews with lead architects discussing the challenges of and satisfaction derived from each project.

The website Black & White designed and developed successfully immersed visitors in the world of this team of creative architects.

“ Upon visiting the new site, our clients and national partners immediately feel a sense of comfort that we have the people, experience and culture to meet their needs. It’s a great new-business tool that has helped us grow our client base.”
